Botch Games Podcast

It's here. The most hilarious podcast episode by number. That's right, it's episode 69, and mistakes have been made. In this episode, the SIXTY-NINTH EVER episode, Craig is joined by the over the hillier gamer, Patrick Hillier and The Host of the Boards Alive Podcast, Aaron Cassidy. As you would expect from those two guests on this, the funniest of episodes, things go off the rails. You can HEAR how red Craig gets. In the family segment, Craig, Erin, and Tyler dive into Ticket to Ride: Rails and Sails. Next episode, we're back to our usual, non-euphemism content, but for now, enjoy the silliness!

It's time for Episode 68 where Craig discusses the lightest game game at the table, and it's Anachrony. Let that sink in. In this very special episode, Craig is joined by the Cubist, Bill Corey Jr, and The head of Capstone Games, Clay Ross to talk all about heavy games. Like for instance, did you know the process to bring heavy imports over to the States? Well you soon will, and you'll enjoy the ride! Also Craig is joined by Tyler and Erin as they continue their quest to derail every conversation Craig starts about board games. It's great..?  Anyway, we hope you enjoy the show and thanks so much for giving it a listen!

It's episode 67! Craig is back to wrap up the Botch Games RPG month with two more AMAZING storytellers. First up is the co-designer of Dead of Winter, among a bevy of other games, Jon Gilmour, and second, the host of the One Shot Podcast, James D'Amato! During their discussion, Craig, James, and Jon talk about the pains and joys of character creation, evoking emotions in games, and finding storytelling moments when surrounded by mechanics. It's a lovely discussion and we're excited James and Jon could spare some time to guest on the show. In the family segment, we finally had #eringamenight! I can not out into words how excited Erin was to have a game night of her choosing. Tyler also chimes in with several fun plays including Clank and the joy of beating Craig in way too many games. Thanks for tuning in and we'll be back next month for more board games forever!

In the 63rd EVER episode of the podcast (and possibly the longest), we look back at our favorite games played in 2016. The rules, however, are dictated by Erin and Tyler, leading to a list of games that doesn't actually reflect much. We had a darn good time, anyways, and you should enjoy it as well. In the now infamous "THIRD SEGMENT," Craig is joined by Aaron from Boards Alive and Matt from PONG in a mini-topic-round-up (sponsored by dashes). Topics include, but are not limited to, balancing Board Game time with RPG time, Kickstarter successes and flops, and is playing a game once enough times to give an adequate review. Thanks so much for stopping by!
